Page 10 <br />Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />3/28/84 <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT Commissioner Getty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2448 was entered and adopted recommending approval of the <br />negative declaration prepared for case RZ-84-4 as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey <br />that case RZ-84-4 be recommended for approval as stated in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman <br />Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2449 was entered and adopted recommending prezoning the property <br />in case RZ-84-4 subject to the staff report. <br />Patel Development Agreement <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton and Kushel Dahya Patel et al, for a <br />development agreement with regard to the development and use of an approximately <br />17,000 sq. ft. site located adjacent and to the south of 2025 Santa Rita <br />Road. Zoning for the property is currently C-F (Commercial Freeway) District. <br />Mr. Swift reviewed the staff report. He reviewed the reasons for the development <br />agreement. <br />Commissioner Lindsey had concerns with tree removal on the north side of <br />Valley for Valley Plaza Villages II. Mr. Warnick indicated that three trees <br />were shown on the plan to be saved; one of them was to be transplanted. <br />Mr. Warnick had received a telephone call at 7:30am from one of the neighbors <br />stating the trees had been removed. Commissioner Doherty asked if anyone <br />knew who took the trees. Mr. Warnick said he personally didn't know but <br />that the City is looking to the developer for replacement. Mr. Warnick stated <br />that generally there is a pre-job conference and items such as tree removal <br />are covered with the developers, but in this case by the time the permits <br />were issued, the trees were removed. CommissionerWilson said he didn't believe <br />it was the developers as this happens all of the time. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />No one addressed this matter. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />-1- <br />
