A negative
declaration of environmental impacts will also be considered.
Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of the prezoning.
The public hearing was opened.
Amelia Wilcox, 471 Bernal Avenue, had some concerns with the prezoning. She
did not want the character of her residential neighborhood destroyed. She
was directed to a wall-mounted plan where it was explained to her that the
property is coming into the City and requires zoning. There is no intention
at this time to have commercial with residential zoning.
The public hearing was closed.
A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Commissioner Wilson
that the negative declaration prepared for case RZ-84-4 be recommended for
approval as prezoning of the subject property would not have a significant
impact on the environment.
-9-
