rage <br />_.r~utes <br />Planning Commission <br />3/28/84 <br />Commissioner Doherty referred to the Industrial General Plan Review Committee's <br />recommendation that there be access at the eastern end of the Sports Park <br />and that at the last Planninig Comission meeting, the Planning Commission <br />initiated an amendment be made & a recommendation be made by staff as to the <br />alternatives. He suggested ',that it might be proper for Hacienda to look <br />at the extension of Stonridge Drive to see what, if anything can be done <br />on this matter. Mr. Swanson said the matter is under study at the current <br />time and has no knowledge yeit of the conclusion. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked if the Mobil Service Station is going to be removed. <br />Roger Gage indicated that it will not be removed but there is property swapping <br />going on currently with Burger King, Wallner's shopping center and others. <br />Harold Dickson, 4066 Suffolk, Board of the Pleasanton Meadows Cabana Club, <br />supported the proposed circulation including the realignment of Stoneridge <br />Drive. He indicated that Mr. Grazadei expressed appreciation of the homeowners <br />to City Council, staff and others who contribute concerning the realignment <br />of Stoneridge Drive and its extension east. Mr. Dickson said he also would <br />like to add his personal thanks to Prudential, CPS, Joe Callahan, and Jack <br />Swanson personally for their efforts. <br />Michael Hogan, Earth Metrics, addressed the environmental assessment relative <br />to this application. He indicated that the negative impacts will be reduced <br />because of the circulation change and that the proposed action does not preclude <br />any use of the well fields. <br />Ed Kinney, 5493 Greenfield, supported this land use change. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey <br />that the mitigated negative declaration prepared for case GP-84-4 be recommended <br />for approval inasmuch as any potentially significant adverse environmental <br />effects will be reduced to an insignificant level because of conditions imposed <br />on project approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2444 was entered and adopted recommending approval of the <br />mitigated negative declaration prepared for case GP-84-4 as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey <br />that case GP-84-4 be recommended for approval subject to the conditions shown <br />in the staff rpeort. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Getty <br />Resolution No. 2445 was entered and adopted recommending approval of case <br />GP-84-4 as motioned. <br />
