rage _.r~utes Planning Commission 3/28/84 Commissioner Doherty referred to the Industrial General Plan Review Committee's recommendation that there be access at the eastern end of the Sports Park and that at the last Planninig Comission meeting, the Planning Commission initiated an amendment be made & a recommendation be made by staff as to the alternatives. He suggested ',that it might be proper for Hacienda to look at the extension of Stonridge Drive to see what, if anything can be done on this matter. Mr. Swanson said the matter is under study at the current time and has no knowledge yeit of the conclusion. Commissioner Wilson asked if the Mobil Service Station is going to be removed. Roger Gage indicated that it will not be removed but there is property swapping going on currently with Burger King, Wallner's shopping center and others. Harold Dickson, 4066 Suffolk, Board of the Pleasanton Meadows Cabana Club, supported the proposed circulation including the realignment of Stoneridge Drive. He indicated that Mr. Grazadei expressed appreciation of the homeowners to City Council, staff and others who contribute concerning the realignment of Stoneridge Drive and its extension east. Mr. Dickson said he also would like to add his personal thanks to Prudential, CPS, Joe Callahan, and Jack Swanson personally for their efforts. Michael Hogan, Earth Metrics, addressed the environmental assessment relative to this application. He indicated that the negative impacts will be reduced because of the circulation change and that the proposed action does not preclude any use of the well fields. Ed Kinney, 5493 Greenfield, supported this land use change. The public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey that the mitigated negative declaration prepared for case GP-84-4 be recommended for approval inasmuch as any potentially significant adverse environmental effects will be reduced to an insignificant level because of conditions imposed on project approval. ROLL CALL VOTE AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson NOES: None ABSENT: Commissioner Getty ABSTAIN: None Resolution No. 2444 was entered and adopted recommending approval of the mitigated negative declaration prepared for case GP-84-4 as motioned. A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey that case GP-84-4 be recommended for approval subject to the conditions shown in the staff rpeort.
