The access on the plan is controversial since it ties in with the Amberwood project <br />on the east. He indicated that the preliminary map does show atie-in to Suttergate Avenue <br />but that a condition of the rezoninig prohibits this tie-in. At this time the critical item will <br />be the results of the traffic study being done to determine the consequences of having future <br />access only to/from Hopyard Road. Mr. Harris explained the matter will be referred to the <br />Park and Recreation Commission, Planning Commission and then on to City Council. City <br />Council does want recommendations from these Commissions. <br />PUD-83-10/12, Wagerman et al <br />Application of Wagerman, Black, Cartlidge, et al for PUD (Planned Unit Development)-development <br />plan approval for a proposed thirty-five lot low density residential project with lots ranging <br />in size from approximately 23,000 to 58,000 sq. ft. on approximately 25 acres located in the <br />general vicinity of the northwest corner of Mohr and Martin Avenues. Zoning for the property <br />is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential District. A negative declaration <br />of environmental impacts will also be considered. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of the project. He indicated <br />the City has money to complete the bridge over the Arroyo Mocho. Commissioner Wilson <br />asked if this bridge was partially funded by George Oakes. Mr. Harris said it was. He explained <br />that the contribution could be used for the bridge or other public improvements in the tract <br />as determined appropriate by the City. Chairman Jamieson indicated that previously it <br />was discussed that the street might be deadended. Mr. Harris explained that Mrs. Lauer has <br />made this request. <br />-4- <br /> <br />
