Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />January 11, 1984 <br />Page 2 <br />PUD-83-16, Val West, Inc. <br />Application of Val West, Inc. for PUD (Planned Unit Development)-development plan <br />approval of a 231 unit residential development project on approximaely 35 acres located <br />on the north side of Vineyard Avenue opposite Sauterne Way. Zoning for the property <br />is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density Residential District. A negative <br />declaration of environmental impacts will also be considered. <br />This item was continued to 1/25/84. <br />PUD-83-21, Vorelco/Dividend <br />Application of Vorelco of California, Inc. and Dividend development Corporation for <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development)-development plan approval for an approximately 70,000 <br />sq. ft. mini-storage facility on an approximately 2.5 acre site located at the southeast <br />corner of Stoneridge Drive and I-680. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-General and Limited Industrial District. A negative declaration of environmental <br />impacts will also be considered. <br />This item was continued to 1/25/84. <br />PUD 83-25, Stanley Commercial Park <br />Application of Frank Auf der Maur for PUD (Planned Unit Development) development <br />plan approval of an approximately 38 acre commercial business park consisting of 32 <br />commercial lots ranging in size from 0.5 to over 1.0 acre in size and related facilities <br />to be located at the eastern terminus of the Del Valle Parkway -southeast of the intersection <br />of Washington Street and Stanley Boulevard. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development)-Commercial Service District. A negative declaration of environmental <br />impacts will also be considered. <br />This item was continued to 1/25/84. <br />PUD-83-7, Amador Associates <br />Application of Amador Associates for PUD (Planned Unit Development)-zoning and <br />development plan approval fora 46 unit residential development project on approximately <br />4.7 acres at 3780 Vineyard Avenue. Zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family <br />Residential) District. The Planning Commission may recommend any zoning for the <br />property consistent with the General Plan. A negative declaration of environmental <br />impacts will also be considered. <br />NEW BUSINESS -Public Hearings <br />Tr. 5244, Morrison Homes <br />Application of Morrison Ho mes for tentative approval of a 209 lot subdivision of approximately <br />25 acres with lots ranging in size from approximately 0.07 to 3.6 acres located at the <br />northeast corner of Santa Rita Road and Valley Avenue. Zoning for the property is <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density Residential District. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report. He indicated that the PUD was adopted January <br />9 and will not become effective until 30 days after that, therefore, the Planning Commission <br />should consider adding to conditions of approval that the tentative map cannot become <br />effective until that same date. Mr. Harris reviewed the obligation of Morrison Homes <br />per an agreement of 1976 to improve the park area. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked about the setback of the first house on Valley Avenue. <br />Staff reviewed. <br />-2- <br />_ __. ___. <br />
