The <br />developers have made a good effort to meet with the neighbors on <br />this project and design an appropriate project. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt that Case PUD-85-18 be recommended for approval <br />subject to the conditions shown in the staff report amending <br />Condition No. 11 to require five off-street parking spaces and <br />adding No. 19 to require review of the houses by the Design <br />Review Board. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, <br />Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and <br />Resolution No. 2734 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case PUD-85-18 as motioned. <br />GP-84-1, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Circulation <br />Element of the General Plan to delete West Las Positas Boulevard <br />as an arterial east of Santa Rita Road and to designate an <br />extension of Stoneridge Drive east of Santa Rita Road to El <br />Charro Road with a conceptual extension to Livermore. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Elizabeth Peterson, 3152 Cranwood, asked that if Stoneridge Drive <br />is used it be put further away from the Arroyo because as it <br />proposed now it would be right next to her backyard. <br />Ed Lew, 4512, Lin Gate, felt the EIR did not sufficiently address <br />the impacts to the homes on the west side of Santa Rita Road. <br />Stoneridge Drive would pass within 80' of their development. He <br />recommended that Case GP-84-1 be put in abeyance until the west <br />side of Santa Rita Road could be addressed. <br />Ted C. Fairfield, representing Rhodes and Jamieson, reviewed his <br />letter included in the Final EIR. They were against any decision <br />other than just one of pointing an arrow saying the City would <br />like to have Stoneridge Drive instead of West Las Positas going <br />eastward. He felt any other decision would be extremely <br />premature. He suggested that the cities, gravel companies, and <br />all other agencies involved in discussions of traffic, <br />interchanges, circulation, etc. get together and decide what is <br />needed and desired. <br />Harvey Levine, Chabot Center, represented Falcon Development. He <br />indicated that he believes this meeting is the time to get a <br />- 11 - <br />
