Minutes <br />Planning Commissic <br />November 13, 1985 <br />Commissioner Hoyt said there are four ramps within the area of <br />the problem ramp and overall there are probably 30 ramps or may <br />be more in town. You do not hear of all of them but only the <br />one. He didn't want to force children to skateboard in the <br />culverts and other dangerous areas where they are now skating. <br />Commissioner Lindsey didn't feel that a single incident should be <br />cause for zoning code change. <br />Chairman Wilson asked the District Attorney's opinion for <br />resolution. Mr. Swift stated the District Attorney had scheduled <br />a citation hearing and Mrs. Wayne hadn't attended, possibly due <br />to nonreceipt of notice. <br />A motion was made <br />Commissioner Hoyt <br />reasons stated in <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by <br />that RZ-85-16 be recommended for denial for the <br />the testimony. <br />Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Lindsey, and <br />Wellman <br />Chairman Wilson <br />None <br />None <br />Resolution No. 2725 was entered and adopted recommending denial <br />of Case RZ-85-16 as motioned. <br />GP-85-11, Ponderosa Homes <br />Application of Ponderosa Homes for an amendment to the Land Use <br />Element of the General Plan to redesignate an approximately 13.4 <br />acre site from Medium Density Residential to High Density <br />Residential located on the west side of Camino Segura, between <br />Via de Los Cerros and Paseo Santa Cruz. Zoninq for the property <br />is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density Residential <br />District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this case. He indicated the Residential Review Committee has <br />designated this property as High Density Residential because of <br />its location to Hopyard Road/Valley Avenue, etc. <br />Chairman Wilson asked-how many units to the acre are allowed for <br />High Density Residential. Mr. Swift indicated the current <br />General Plan designation is 8 dwelling units per acre with no <br />maximum. Ponderosa has not indicated at what density they would <br />like to develop. Mr. Swift reviewed the densities of the other <br />approved Ponderosa sites including that of the now developed <br />Barratt Homes. Mr. Swift indicated the zoning would be affixed <br />later. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Chuck Pinkerton, Ponderosa Homes, 6671 Owens Drive, Pleasanton, <br />reviewed the history of their Long Term Agreement with the City <br />- 6 - <br /> <br />
