Minutes
Planning Commissio
September 25, 1985
Mike Sedlak, 443 Los Rios Court, urged approval of the
application. He asked that Dolores, Monaco, Puerto Villarta be
maintained in a clean manner. He also invited the developers to
attend their homeowners meeting on the 30th of September. He
then asked about the impacts of the grading on the Scott
Residence of Lot 72 which is next to Mr. Gooch's Lot No. 73. The
elevation is 450'.
Messrs. Gooch and Van DeRoovaart indicated that they would be
using Monaco Drive as their haul route except directly in front
of their lots, and will be removing approximately 3,000 yards of
dirt.
After discussion, Mr. Sedlak asked that the application be
approved and complemented the developers on their work.
The public hearing was closed.
Commissioner Michelotti felt that the developers have taken an
unsightly situation and will be turning it into a nice
development.
Vice Chairman Lindsey stated that the developers are improving
the property and he supported their efforts.
Commissioner Michelotti then asked that Condition No. 4 be
modified to require that the trucks when hauling out the fill be
covered.
Commissioner Inner didn't feel that on large custom lots it is
necessary to have flat backyards and the terrain should be
protected.
A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by
Commissioner Michelotti that Case PUD-77-10 be recommended for
approval subject to the conditions shown in the staff report,
modifying Conditions No. 1 and 4 as stated earlier.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Michelotti, Wellman and Vice
Chairman Lindsey
NOES: Commissioner Inner
ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt and Chairman Wilson
ABSTAIN: None
Resolution No. 2712 was entered and adopted approving Case
PUD-77-10 as motioned.
UP-85-35, Stony Ridge Winery
Application of Stony Ridge Winery for a conditional use permit to
operate a commercial wine tasting room at 818 Main Street.
Zoning for the property is CC (Central Commercial) District.
Mr. Gee presented the staff report.
