Minutes <br />Planning Commissic <br />September 25, 1985 <br />and should read "freestanding rg ound type business sign," and <br />further that the office building is 4,000 sq. ft. and not 9,000 <br />sq. ft. as stated. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Dominic Scotto, 399 West Angela Street, asked that a 10:00am to <br />6:OOpm operating scheduled not be imposed upon them. These are <br />the hours they will probably be open, however, do not feel they <br />should be so restricted. He stated that they have no frontage on <br />any street and wish to keep the display window. Commissioner <br />Innes asked if the display window is for Stony Ridge only. Mr. <br />Scotto indicated this to be the situation. Vice Chairman Lindsey <br />discussed the hours of operation of the Cheese Factory. Mr. <br />Scotto indicated they would like their hours to coincide with <br />those of the Cheese FActory. <br />The Commissioners then discussed the display case facing Main <br />Street. Mr. Scotto indicated he would have a very attractive <br />display in the display case and urged he be allowed to retain it. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Vice Chairman Lindsey felt that 2a and 3 should be eliminated as <br />conditions. Commissioner Innes concurred with this comment. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Inner, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wellman that Case UP-85-35 be approved as all required findings <br />are made subject to the conditions of the staff report <br />eliminating 2A and 3. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt and Chairman Wilson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2713 was entered and adopted approving UP-85-35 as <br />motioned. <br />Open Space in Old Towne <br />Mr. Swift indicated that Cork Harbor was granted time until <br />October 1, 1985 to complete certain agreed upon improvements of <br />the area. Mr. Swift recently met with the neighbors and the <br />deadline is fast approaching and the required improvements have <br />not been done. He asked the Planning Commission to recommending <br />extending the deadline at the request of the neighbors. <br />Commissioner Lindsey made a motion seconded by Commissioner <br />Wellman that the time limit for completing improvements at Cork <br />Harbour for the PUD modification be extended. <br />- 13 - <br /> <br />
