Minutes <br />Planning Commissio <br />September 11, 1985 <br />Commissioner Michelotti suggested that garage door openers be <br />used on each garage door as people tend to use their garages more <br />for parking when they do not have to get out of their cars to do <br />so. <br />Commissioner Innes continued to <br />requirements of the project and <br />three drivers there would be ze <br />He stated that he recently read <br />Chronicle that 42% of the homes <br />singles. The project <br />meets the requirements of the existing Code. <br />Harvey Levine, Esq., 4637 Chabot Drive, represented Mr. and Mrs. <br />Payne. He indicated they would be able to accept a condition <br />relating to mandatory parking in garages, but would like staff to <br />tie down the wording in such a way so that the homeowners <br />association would have the opportunity to enforce the CC&Rs <br />before the City would enforce them. <br />Commissioner Wilson said he liked the garage door opener <br />solution. <br />Mr. Wilcox, Stanley Boulevard, represented his parents. They <br />agree with the project except they feel that walnut trees are <br />heritage trees and should be saved contrary to the recommendation <br />of the tree surgeon. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Lindsey was concerned with removal of the garage <br />door. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt to recommend approval of Case PUD-85-7 amending <br />Condition No. 4 to add "or the alignment of Del Valle Parkway is <br />determined" and adding Condition No. 17 that garage door openers <br />are required for every unit. <br />Commissioner Inner indicated he would vote for the project but <br />would require that parking be reviewed for high density units. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Inner, Lindsey, Michelotti, and <br />CHairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2702 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of PUD-85-7 as motioned. <br />- 9 - <br />
