Minutes <br />Planning Commissior, <br />August 28, 1985 <br />UP-85-31, Diablo Move Systems <br />Application of Diablo Move Systems for a conditional use permit <br />to allow warehousing (record storage) in an existing structure <br />located at 1056 Serpentine Lane. Zoning for the property is PUD <br />(Planned Unit development)-Industrial District. <br />Mr. swift presented the staff report which recommended approval <br />of this case. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Mr. McLean, 312 Mt. Sierra, Clayton, indicated he had read the <br />staff report and agrees with the conditions recommended on it. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Commissioner Lindsey asked Mr. McLean about the temporary nature <br />of the use proposed. Mr. McLean explained that the building <br />owner is hoping his business will grow during the next couple of <br />years and will use the rest of the building. By that time Mr. <br />McLean will hopefully be in a position to build his own building. <br />Mr. McLean then explained that they are going into business in <br />Pleasanton for basically one account and hopes to expand it to <br />more than this. Their business stores corporate records and as <br />such gets a minimal amount of traffic. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded b <br />Commissioner Hoyt that findings shown in the staff report to <br />grant approval of this use are made and that Case UP-85-31 be <br />approved subject to the conditions shown thereon. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and <br />Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2695 was entered and adopted approving Case <br />UP-85-31 as motioned. <br />UP-85-33, Leeb <br />Application of Charles Leeb for a conditional use permit to allow <br />warehousing of photography supplies and equipment to be located <br />at 39 California Avenue. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development)-Commercial District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this proposal. <br />Commissioner Lindsey referred to Condition NO. 4 and felt this <br />condition is contrary to what the City is trying to prevent.
