Minutes
Planning Commissioi
August 28, 1985
Chairman Wilson and Brian Hoyt then stated they will not be able
to attend the September 25, 1985 meeting. Chairman Wilson stated
that every time there is a meeting, there is a large number of
items continued and thought perhaps that the meetings are not as
long as they appear. Commissioner Innes pointed out that the 9th
and 24th of September are scheduled workshops for the City
Council and Planning Commission for the purpose of reviewing
recommendations of the residential review committee. It was
pointed out that the date of September 24 was changed to the
first or second week in October.
Commissioner Inner suggested that perhaps the City policy could
be changed with regard to continued items putting those items
requiring continuances on the bottom of the work pile lettering
them work their way back up. Mr. Swift explained that often
times items are noticed before the plans get reviewed by a
planner in order to meet the legal advertising deadline. If all
is okay with the plans and sufficient information furnished, the
project can proceed ahead. Mr. Swift then explained the reasons
for continuances of the items on the current agenda.
MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS
No items were initiated by the Commission members.
OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings
GP-85-6, City of Pleasanton
Application of the City of Pleasanton for a amendment to the
Land Use Element of the General Plan of an approximately 4.6 acre
site from Medium Density Residential to High Density Residential,
located on the north side of Stanley Boulevard between 4005 and
4129 Stanley Boulevard.
