Minutes <br />Planning Commissioi <br />July 24, 1985 <br />Commission made the finding that this tentative map conforms to <br />the General Plan for the subject site. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Lindsey, Wellman and Chairman <br />Wilson <br />NOES: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2668 was entered and adopted approving Tract 5364 <br />as motioned. <br />GP-85-7, Pleasanton School District, Amador Savin s and Loan, and <br />Chris Beratlis <br />Application of Amador Savings and Loan for an amendment to the <br />Land Use Element of the General Plan to redesignate an <br />approximately 1.2 acre site from Low Density Residential to <br />Medium Density Residential and a 1.2 acre site from Medium <br />Density Residential to Low Density Residential, the 2.4 acre site <br />located on the north side of Crellin Road approximately 1000' <br />east of Madeira Drive. Zoning for the property is "P" (Public <br />and Institutional) and PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density <br />Residential Districts. <br />RZ-85-7, Pleasanton School District & Amador Savings and Loan and <br />Chris Beratlis <br />Application of the Pleasanton School District and Amador Savings <br />and Loan and Chris Beratlis to rezone an approximately 22.3 acre <br />site from the "P" (Public and Institutional) District to the "A" <br />(Agricultural) District and the R-1-6500 (Single-family <br />Residential) District and to redesignate the 1.2 acre site from <br />the "A" to the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District or <br />to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan. <br />The property is located on the north side of Crellin Road, <br />immediately east of the residences on the east side of Sylvaner <br />Drive and 600 feet southeast of Chardonnay Drive. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff reports on these two applications <br />explaining the land swap and potential uses of the properties. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Chris Beratlis, one of the property owners, wanted clarification <br />on the 'permanent open space.' He wants to make it a matter of <br />record that he can continue to use it for grazing. A land use <br />designation of Grazing is okay, but not permanent open space <br />concerning the 1.2 acres. <br />Commissioner Innes asked if there had been any discussion between <br />the proponents and the Vintage Hills Homeowners Association. Mr. <br />Beratlis indicated that there had been discussion but only on an <br />individual basis. He felt that they have conformed to what the <br />homeowners want.
