Minutes Planning Commissio. July 24, 1985 Resolution No. 2675 was entered and adopted approving UP-85-28 as motioned. UP-85-24, Charles Daggett Application of Charles Daggett for a conditional use permit to allow an electrical contracting assembly and warehousing operation at 2168 Rheem Drive. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial District. Mr. Quaglia presented the staff report. Commissioner Innes asked about the parking. Mr. Quaglia explained the parking plan and stated this is a four building complex. The public hearing was opened. Dick Daggett, the applicant, stated he has had his business in town for 13 years. Regarding the parking, he stated he only has three employees on premise. The balance of the employees report directly to job sites. Commissioner Innes asked if Mr. Daggett planned on having any retail sales. Mr. Daggett said he does not. The public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey that all findings shown in the staff report are made and that Case UP-85-24 be approved subject to the conditions shown in that report. UP-85-25, Jean Monson Application of Jean Monson for conditional use permit approval to allow therapeutic massage and cellulite treatments in conjunction with an existing beauty parlor located at 3037-E Hopyard Road (Hopyard Village Shopping Center). Zoning for the property is CC (Central Commercial) District. Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of Case UP-85-25. The public hearing was opened. Jean Monson, 5406 Greenridge Road, Castro Valle, addressed the Commission stating she concurs with the staff report. - 11 -
