Minutes <br />Planning Commissio. <br />July 24, 1985 <br />Resolution No. 2675 was entered and adopted approving UP-85-28 as <br />motioned. <br />UP-85-24, Charles Daggett <br />Application of Charles Daggett for a conditional use permit to <br />allow an electrical contracting assembly and warehousing <br />operation at 2168 Rheem Drive. Zoning for the property is PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-Industrial District. <br />Mr. Quaglia presented the staff report. Commissioner Innes asked <br />about the parking. Mr. Quaglia explained the parking plan and <br />stated this is a four building complex. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Dick Daggett, the applicant, stated he has had his business in <br />town for 13 years. Regarding the parking, he stated he only has <br />three employees on premise. The balance of the employees report <br />directly to job sites. Commissioner Innes asked if Mr. Daggett <br />planned on having any retail sales. Mr. Daggett said he does <br />not. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that all findings shown in the staff report are made and <br />that Case UP-85-24 be approved subject to the conditions shown in <br />that report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Lindsey, WEllman and <br />Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2676 was entered and adopted approving Case <br />UP-85-24 as motioned. <br />UP-85-25, Jean Monson <br />Application of Jean Monson for conditional use permit approval to <br />allow therapeutic massage and cellulite treatments in conjunction <br />with an existing beauty parlor located at 3037-E Hopyard Road <br />(Hopyard Village Shopping Center). Zoning for the property is CC <br />(Central Commercial) District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />Case UP-85-25. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Jean Monson, 5406 Greenridge Road, Castro Valle, addressed the <br />Commission stating she concurs with the staff report. <br />- 11 - <br />
