Minutes
Planning Commissio
4/10/85
GP-85-3, John Payne
Application of John Payne et al for a General Plan amendment to
redesignate approximately 2.8 acres at 4089 and 4129 Stanley
Boulevard from "Medium Density Residential" to "High Density
Residential." The subject properties are currently zoned R-1-20
(Single-Family Residential) District.
This matter was continued to 5/22/85.
MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW
TENTATIVE MAPS
Tract 5445, Dean Wagerman, et al (PUD-83-10)
Application of Dean Wagerman et al for tentative map approval to
create a 20 lot, single-family residential subdivision on an
approximately 13.8 acre site located north of Mohr Avenue and
west of Martin Avenue on either side of Cameron Drive. Zoning
for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) Low Density
Residential District.
Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of
this subdivision.
The public hearing was opened.
Mike Cooper, Bissell & Karn, 4637 Chabot Drive, presented the
proposal. He indicated that the applicant agrees to the
conditions of the staff report. The map includes all except the
1.2 acre Black parcel with regard to PUD-83-10. Plans will not
show major grading until house plans are proposed for the lots.
The only trees planned for removal are those which are in the
proposed roadway.
Commissioner Lindsey asked about fencing and the frontage on
Martin Avenue. He asked if Lot No. 10 is the only one fronting
on Martin. Mr. Cooper indicated that the corner lots have to
face Martin Avenue because it was a condition imposed by the City
Council. He stated that the applicants prefer to have latitude
in building orientation.
Commissioner Innes asked if there were any heritage trees on
these lots. Mr. Cooper stated that to his knowledge there are
none.
A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner
Lindsey that Tract 5445 be approved subject to the conditions of
the staff report. They made the finding that this map conforms to
the PUD zoning and General Plan of the City of Pleasanton.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES:
NOES:
Commissioners Getty, Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and
Vice Chairman Wilson
None
- 6 -
