Minutes <br />Planning Commissio_ <br />4/10/85 <br />conforming, reconstruction of the structures should a disaster <br />strike, etc. Mr. Harris stated that he would see that the <br />property owner was aware of these things before the matter was <br />considered by the City Council. <br />The public hearing as opened. <br />No one addressed this matter. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Innes asked about the size of the lots and size of <br />the structures which could be constructed. Mr. Harris explained <br />that site development standards are R-1 and require a minimum lot <br />size of 6500 sq. ft. Mr. Harris stated that the neighbors in the <br />area do not want High Density Residential zoning in the area. No <br />concern was expressed with regard to the property going Medium <br />Density Residential. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wilson that the negative declaration prepared for case RZ-85-5 be <br />recommended for approval inasmuch as the subject rezoning would <br />not have a significant effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey, Wellman and Vice <br />Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSENT: Chairman Doherty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2637 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the adoption of the negative declaration prepared for Case <br />RZ-85-5 as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that the property described in Case RZ-85-5 be rezoned to <br />PUD-Medium Density Residential district subject to the standards <br />shown in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey, Wellman and Vice <br />Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSENT: Chairman Doherty <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2638 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case RZ-85-5 as motioned. <br />- 5 - <br />.* <br />
