Ms. Thorne indicated there is
nothing firmly negotiated for these lots.
The public hearing was closed.
A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner
Wellman that the mitigated negative declaration for Case PUD-85-2
be recommended for approval inasmuch as conditions imposed on
project approval would reduce any potentially significant
environmental effect to an insignificant level.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and Chairman
Doherty
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioners Getty and Wilson
ABSTAIN: None
Resolution No. 2630 was entered and adopted recommending approval
of the mitigated negative declaration as motioned.
A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by
Commissioner Wellman that case PUD-85-2 be recommended for
approval as recommended in the staff report. The Planning
Commission advised the applicant that I-580 is a scenic corridor
and Santa Rita Road one of the main entrances to Pleasanton.
They asked the applicant to consider these facts when submitting
design plans and they will be scrutinizing this very important
fact closely in reviewing future development plans.
Commissioner Innes expressed concerns with the possibility of a
four acre car dealership on Lot 3. From an aesthetic standpoint
he had concerns with massive amounts of asphalt. Regarding
traffic Mr. Harris reported that traffic generation occurs mainly
on the weekends with service calls during the week.
ROLL CALL VOTE
AYES: Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Wellman and Chairman
Doherty
NOE5: None
ABSENT: Commissioners Getty and Wilson
ABSTAIN: None
Resolution No. 2631 was entered and adopted recommending approval
of Case PUD-85-2 as motioned.
RZ-85-7, Pleasanton School District & Amador Savings Loan
Application of the Pleasanton School District and Amador Savings
and Loan to rezone an approximately 22.3 acre site from the "P"
- 3 -
. 7
