Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />March 13, 1985 <br />J. David Martin, 391 Diablo Road, Danville, indicated that he <br />agrees with the staff report. except he would ask that Condition <br />No. 6 be modified so that the wording is similar to Condition No. <br />7. He presented photographs of similar buildings constructed in <br />the Marriott Business Park. They will have 29 1/2% FAR, 37 1/2% <br />landscaping. They intend to develop this in phases. <br />Commissioner Lindsey addressed traffic and the LOS F intersection <br />which will exist. Mr. Harris explained that this intersection is <br />already LOS F but will be improved with the public improvements <br />planned. Commissioner Lindsey then asked when the proposed <br />buildings would be occupied. Mr. Martin stated that will <br />probably be ready for occupancy in the summer of 1986. <br />Commissioner Getty asked why the project has no compact car <br />spaces. Mr. Martin stated that the criteria set forth by one of <br />the partners does not allow compact car parking spaces. <br />David Gates, the landscape architect for the Martin company <br />reviewed the landscape plans. They will plant Eucalyptus on the <br />perimeter in accordance with the CC&Rs and will plant other <br />varieties on site. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by <br />Commissioner Getty that Case PUD-81-30-27D be recommended for <br />approval subject to the conditions shown in the staff report <br />amending Condition No.6 to add "..or as otherwise approved by the <br />City Engineer." <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, <br />Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Lindsey, Wellman, Wilson and <br />Resolution No. 2627 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case PUD-81-30-27D as motioned. <br />RZ-85-6, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately <br />20 acre site located east of the terminus of Mission Drive, south <br />of Bernal Avenue and approximately 325 ft. north of Junipero <br />Street to the "A" (Agricultural), "P" (Public and Institutional) <br />and PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density Residential <br />District or to any other zoning districts consistent with the <br />General Plan. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report stating that the property <br />is to come into the City and to do so needs to be prezoned. He <br />asked that the northern 10 acres of the subject property (Auf der <br />Maur) be prezoned PUD-Medium Density Residential District, that <br />the 7.72 acre school site be prezoned P (Public and <br />- 8 - <br />...
