Minutes <br />Planning Commissio; <br />1 23 85 <br />that the citizens committee has made no such recommendation. <br />Mr. Deetz explained he has been offered $3,000 per acre to $60 a <br />sq. ft. for his property. <br />Chairman Doherty explained that the matter before the Commission <br />is to initiate applications for rezonings and general plan <br />amendments and everyone will be noticed of these individual <br />hearings. <br />A motion was made by Chairman Doherty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey to initiate zoning and land use changes for the staff <br />report to the Commission. This motion was carried. <br />RZ-84-20, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton for amendment to the <br />Ordinance Code to allow a 8 foot high rear and side yard fences <br />in residential districts, and to modify the definition of "rear <br />yards." <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />the ordinance code changes. <br />Commissioner Lindsey asked if many requests had been made for <br />fences over six feet. Mr. Harris indicated that very few <br />requests have been made for this. <br />Commissioner Wilson asked if an ordinance code change would <br />overrule the CC&Rs. Mr. Swift indicated it would not. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />No one addressed this matter. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by <br />Commissioner Lindsey that Case RZ-84-20 be recommended for <br />approval as stated in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, <br />Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSTAIN:None <br />Lindsey, Wellman, Wilson and <br />Resolution No. 2598 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case RZ-84-20 as motioned. <br />UP-84-68, Robert Cordtz <br />Application of Robert Cordtz for conditional use permit approval <br />to operate a six-unit bed and breakfast inn on an approximately <br />0.4 acre site located at 246, 248, 262 West Angela Street. <br />Zoning for the property is RM-4000 (Multi-family Residential) <br />District. <br />- 4 - <br />..
