Minutes
Planning Commission
October 8, 1986
Tract 5699, Connolly
Application of Robert Connolly to subdivide an approximately 2.4
acre site into 9 parcels for single-family residential use,
ranging in size from approximately 8,000 sq. ft. to approximately
21,000 sq. ft., located at 306 Neal Street. Zoning for the
property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density
Residential District.
Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of
this application modifying Condition No. 3 to read as follows
"That all structures shown on the tentative map to be removed
shall be removed prior to the recordation of the final map which
would create a lot line through the subject structure."
Mr. Swift referenced a letter received with regard to drainage of
the area regarding this project.
The public hearing was opened.
Dr. Robert Connolly, 306 Neal Street, agreed with the conditions
recommended by staff as modified. He asked the meaning of
Condition No. 10 of the Engineering Report. Mr. Swift responded
that it probably means nothing more than what has been shown on
the plan since it is a private street.
Wayne Emery, 4435 Entrada Drive, indicated he is the person who
wrote the letter regarding drainage. There have been some real
problems in the past with the existing culvert between his
property and the property next door. He felt drainage should be
addressed at this time.
Mr. Okamura indicated that the engineering calculations are done
at the time improvement plans are submitted and the size of the
culvert is determined on ultimate development of upstream
properties in the drainage areas. Mr. Emery felt that as more
properties are developed, there will be less chance of runoff
water going into the ground.
The public hearing was closed.
A motion was made by
Commissioner Berger,
report modifying No.
Tract 5699 conforms
development plan and
this property.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
AYES:
NOES:
ABSENT:
ABSTAIN:
Commissioner Wellman, seconded by
that Tract 5699 be approved per of the staff
3 as suggested by Mr. Swift, finding that
to the zoning, approved planned unit
General Plan of the City of Pleasanton for
Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti,
Wellman and Chairman Lindsey
None
Commissioner Innes
None
- 5 -
" T
