Minutes <br />Planning commission <br />August 13, 1986 <br />Commissioner Michelotti asked for a report on the traffic <br />computer. Mr. Swift stated the report will be P86pWila ber the <br />9/10/86 meeting inasmuch as the meeting of 8/27/ <br />totally devoted to the General Plan consideration. <br />Commissioner Innes discussed signing for the three buildings on <br />First street across from Pleasanton School. There are signs up <br />which have not been approved. Mr. Swift said staff is already <br />checking into this matter. Commissioner Innes reported that he <br />went inside and reported the unapproved signs, was given an <br />apology and subsequently the signs reappeared just as though this <br />matter had never been addressed. <br />Commissioner Innes again asked for a budget presentation. Mr. <br />Swift indicated he would ask the City Manager for a date on the <br />presentation. <br />RZ-86-4, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend to Municipal Code <br />relating to regulation of signage for multi-story office <br />structures. <br />This item was continued to 9/10/86. <br />PUD-82-10-3M, Grey Eagle <br />Application of Grey Eagle for a major modification to an approved <br />development plan to allow for the relocation of the designated <br />building pad for Parcel 14 within the 28-unit residential <br />development located on the south side of the eastern terminus of <br />Crellin Road. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Low Density Residential District. <br />This matter was continued to 9/10/86. <br />PUD-80-15-2D-iM, Hivest, Inc. <br />Application of Hivest, Inc. for a maCenterdtolallownfor an <br />approved development for a shopping <br />convenience food markets as a permitted use, to be located on <br />approximately two acre site, located on the south side of Pimlico <br />Drive, approximately .1 mile east of the intersection of Pimlico <br />Drive and Santa Rita Road. Zoning for the property is PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-Commercial District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending denial of this <br />application. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Keith Robinson, 3720 Bairn Court, (Meadowview area) Pleasanton, <br />represented the owners of the property. He urged approval of <br />their application. He has lived in the area since 1978 and <br />driven by this site two times per day for that period of time. <br />The property is vacant except for McDonalds restaurant and gravel <br />trucks.
