MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSON <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, August 13, 1986 <br />S:oOpm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission was called to order at 8:05pm by Vice <br />Chairman John Innes. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Brian Hoyt, Sharrell Michelotti, Kaye <br />Wellman and John Innes, Vice Chairman <br />Commissioners Absent: Joyce Berger and Larry Lindsey, Chairman <br />Staff Members Present: Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert T. Okamura, <br />Assistant City Engineer; and Shirley <br />McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Minutes of July 23, 1986 were approved as submitted. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />No one addressed this item. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Swift asked that Items 5(a) and (b), Case RZ-86-4 and <br />PUD-82-10-3M be continued to 9/10/86. He also asked that 6(d), <br />RZ-86-8 relating to increasing the number of ilCommercial)igns <br />permitted for service station uses in the "C" <br />Districts be continued to 9/10/86. because staff is working with <br />the service stations in town who might be effected by the <br />ordinance change. The Commissioners agreed to these continuances <br />as requested. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Wellman asked about a tree possibly being a traffic <br />hazard at the Hilton Hotel parking lot. Mr. Okamura said he <br />would check into this for Commissioner Wellman. <br />- 1 - <br />_. <br />..T _ <br />
