Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />June 25, 1986 <br />RZ-86-4, City of Pleasanton <br />App it cation of the City of Pleasanton to amend to Municipal Code <br />relating to regulation of signage for multi-story office <br />structures. <br />This item was continued to 7/23/86. <br />NEi~ BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />Tract 5578, Shea Homes <br />Application of Shea Homes to subdivide an approximately <br />42 acre site into fifty parcels for single-family <br />residential use, ranging in size from approximately <br />4,500 square feet to approximately 6,000 square feet, and <br />one remainder parcel of approximately 35 acres, <br />located generally in the area north of the intersection <br />of Rheem Drive and Rheem Court. Zoning for the property <br />is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density <br />Residential District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this application. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Paul Medeiros, Shea Homes, 1210 S. Bascom, San Jose, stated they <br />have read and agree with the conditions of the staff report. He <br />stated that Planning Condition No. 4 and Engineering Condition <br />No. 10 have both been taken care of with the Growth Management <br />Long Term agreement between Shea Homes and the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Innes asked if the Fire Department has any problems <br />with the long cul-de-sac. Mr. Swift said they had no problem <br />with it because there is a turnaround. <br />Commissioner Michelotti asked about the timeframe as to when Kamp <br />Drive might be continued through the cul-de-sac. Mr. Medeiros <br />said they plan to continue Kamp Drive next year to the northern <br />boundary. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt that Tract 5578 be approved subject to the <br />conditions of the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Innes, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />- 4 - <br />•r <br />
