Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />June 25, 1986 <br />Resolution No. 2803 was entered and adopted approving Tract 5578 <br />as motioned. <br />RZ-86-5, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton for an amendment to the <br />Municipal Code to provide for consistency in administrative <br />design review procedures. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />No one addressed this item. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner <br />Michelotti that Case RZ-86-5 be recommended for approval subject <br />to the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Michelotti, Wellman <br />and Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2802 was entered and adopted approving Tract 5578 <br />as motioned. <br />RZ-86-6, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an <br />approximately 17 acre site located on the north side of <br />Busch Road adjacent to its eastern terminus, to the F <br />(Public and Institutional) District or to any other <br />zoning district in conformance with the General Plan. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />Case RZ-86-6 stating this will be the site of the future <br />corporation yard. <br />Chairman Lindsey asked what would happen if the City decided to <br />sell the property with regard to uses. Mr. Swift said that <br />virtually everything in the "P" District requires a conditional <br />use permit. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Marvin Murphy, 6686 Via San Blas, urged denial of this <br />application as there is a large sand and gravel resource on the <br />site. Such resources are becoming scarce in California. The <br />County has had the property in the "Q" (Quarry) zone for many <br />years. It is included in the County's plan for aggregate <br />reclamation. It has been classified as a significant resource by <br />the State of California. He felt there are a lot of places where <br />- 5 - <br />
