Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />May 14, 1986 <br />uses proposed within the new General Plan revisions to reflect <br />the 75%/25% single-family/multi-family housing balance goal. <br />Resolution No. 2789 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case GP-86-1 as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wellman recommending Case PUD-86-5 be approved, changing the 10.5 <br />acre site located generally in the area bounded by Owens Drive, <br />West Las Positas Boulevard, the western boundary of the former <br />railroad right-of-way of the Southern Pacific Transportation <br />Company, and Tassajara Creek from PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Office District to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-High Density Residential/Open Space District. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Innes, Wellman and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Michelotti <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2790 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of PUD-86-5 as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wellman, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt that the Negative Declaration prepared for Case <br />GP-86-2 be recommended for approval inasmuch as project approval <br />would have an insignificant effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Innes, Wellman and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Michelotti <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolutions 2791 was entered and adopted recommending approval of <br />the negative declaration prepared for Case GP-86-2 as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wellman that the 14.6 acre site described in Case GP-86-2 be <br />changed from "Industrial/Commercial and Offices" and "Open Space <br />(Public Health and Safety)" to "High Density Residential" and <br />"Open Space (Public Health and Safety)," with the easterly 50' of <br />the former Southern Pacific Transportation Company right-of-way <br />having the Open Space designation (approximately 1.1+ acre). <br />Staff is directed to adjust the land uses proposed within the new <br />General Plan revisions to reflect the 75%/25% <br />single-family/multi-family housing balance goal. <br />Resolution No. 2792 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case GP-86-2 as motioned. <br />- 9 - <br />r <br />
