Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />4/9/86 <br />Kathy Straub said that the standard color for Public Storage is <br />orange and what is proposed is a rust color to match the terra <br />cotta tile. The architect then distributed a material sample of <br />the typical orange and the color proposed for this building and <br />stated the rendering does not quite depict the tile. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wellman that the Negative Declaration prepared for <br />Case PUD-86-3 be recommended for approval inasmuch as project <br />approval would have an insignificant effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, <br /> and Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Lindsey, Michelotti, Wellman <br />Resolution No. 2778 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the Negative Declaration as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wellman that Case PUD-86-3 be recommended for <br />approval subject to the conditions of the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Lindsey, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: Commissioner Innes <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2779 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case PUD-86-3 as motioned. <br />RZ-85-11, Newnam <br />Application of Billy Newnam to rezone an approximately 1.9 acre <br />site from R-1-40,000 (Single Family Residential) to R-1-20,000 <br />(single-family Residential) District located at 5130 Foothill <br />Road. <br />This item was continued indefinitely. <br />UP-86-7, Best <br />Application of Kenneth Best for a conditional use permit for a <br />recreational vehicle storage facility to be located on an <br />approximately 19.2 acre site located on the south side of Boulder <br />Street, approximately 275 feet east of the intersection of Quarry <br />Lane and Boulder street. Zoninq for the property is I-G-40,000 <br />(General Industrial) District. <br />Mr. Lee presented the staff report recommending approval of this <br />case.
