Minutes <br />Planning Commission. <br />2/12/86 <br />Resolution No. 2757 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case PUD-85-8 as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wellman that the development agreement proposed for <br />the Hacienda Business Park be recommended for approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES• Commissioners Innes, Hoyt, Lindsey, Wellman and <br />• Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2758 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the development agreement proposed for PUD-85-8. <br />PUD 85 8 iD, Prudential Insurance compa~ <br />Application of Prudential Insurance Company of America for <br />development plan approval for a ten - structure, approximately <br />1,029,250 square foot office complex to be located on an <br />approximately 61 acre site located in the area bounded by <br />Rosewood Drive on the west and north, Tassajara Creek on the <br />east, and Owens Drive on the south. Current zoning for the <br />property is iG (General Industrial) and proposed zoning is PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br />District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending the project be <br />brought back to the Commission with specific building elevations <br />and other modifications made necessary to meet the <br />recommendations made by staff. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Joe Callahan, Callahan-Pentz, also represented Prudential <br />Insurance Company of America. They are in agreement with all of <br />the staff proposed conditions for approval of the plan as <br />proposed. <br />Chairman Wilson asked how many parking places there are in the <br />parking structure. Mr. Callahan indicated there are 400 total <br />equaling about 10% of the parking on the site. <br />Mr. Callahan introduced Bill Valentine, HOK, architect, <br />indicating he would like a caveat place on the conditions that if <br />the additional 500 parking spaces are needed in the future, they <br />will be able to install them as originally requested in their <br />application. Mr. Valentine then presented visual aides, material <br />boards and relevant exhibits for the benefit of the Commission <br />and the audience, showing a revised site plan and building <br />elevation for the six-story building. Commissioner Innes <br />discussed with the architect the colonade, windows and materials <br />to be used.
