also asked that Condition No. 31 be deleted because it doesn't <br />apply to residential development. Mr. Swift concurred with this <br />request. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Lindsey supported having the design of the carport <br />match the apartment complex. <br />Commissioner Innes discussed access onto Angela Street and asked <br />whether or not access from Peters Avenue will be a problem at <br />this particular location. Commissioner Lindsey didn't feel there <br />would be a problem as one is only dealing with 20 spaces. <br />Commissioner Michelotti asked if the condition of the carport <br />would be that the details of the carport can be worked out with <br />staff. The other Commissioners agreed the final details can be <br />worked out with staff. <br />Commissioner Wellman made a motion seconded by Chairman Wilson <br />that approval of Case PUD-85-13 would have an insignificant <br />effect on the environment and that a negative declaration be <br />recommended for approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Innes, Lindsey, Michelotti, WEllman <br />and Chairman Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. 2742 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PUD-85-13 as <br />motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Chairman <br />Wilson that Case PUD-85-13 be recommended for approval subject to <br />the conditions in the staff report but deleting Conditions No. 29 <br />and 31 of the Standard Conditions, and amending Condition No. 5 <br />to read as follows: <br />That the grading for this site shall not result in a finished <br />floor elevation greater than 339 feet and that the final <br />grades for the areas along the property lines shall not <br />exceed a height 8" above the existing grades of the adjacent <br />properties to the west and southwest of the project site. <br />Included in the motion is a condition requiring construction of <br />carports, consistent with the elevations of the roof line of the <br />units, the final design to be worked out with staff. <br />- 7 - <br /> <br />
