Staff did not ask that the intersection <br />be included in this particular analysis. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Tarver stated he would like to see both of these <br />projects have a condition requiring building permits be taken out <br />within one year or the projects resubmitted for approval. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Berger, seconded by <br />Commissioner Mahern to recommend approval of Case PUD-80-2-6D <br />subject to the conditions of the staff report with the following <br />changes: <br />#12 delete <br />#13 delete <br />#17 delete <br />Add: "That the landscape island located opposite the Valley <br />Avenue entrance driveway be extended to a minimum length <br />of 36'." <br />Add: "That all on-site circulation movements shall be <br />designed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer to <br />insure adequate emergency vehicle access and eliminate <br />any conflicting vehicular movements." <br />Add: "That construction pursuant to a valid building permit <br />shall commence within 1 year. Failure to do so will <br />result in the expiration of the development plan <br />approval." <br />It is also understood that the applicant may allow tenants to <br />place their logo within a white block on the blue canopy with <br />planning staff review. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Mahern, Tarver, and Vice <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Chairman Lindsey and Commissioner Hoyt <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-87-53 was entered and adopted recommending <br />approval of Case PUD-80-2-6D as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Berger, seconded by <br />Commissioner Mahern that PUD-80-2-7D be recommended for approval <br />subject to the conditions of the staff report adding "That <br />construction pursuant to a valid building permit shall commence <br />within 1 year.
