Minutes <br />Planning Commission <br />Wednesday, April 22, 1987 <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, Tarver, and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-87-43 was entered and adopted approving Case <br />UP-87-7 as motioned. <br />Tract 5775, Regis Homes Corp. <br />Application of Regis Homes Corporation to subdivide an <br />approximately 20.7 acre site into four parcels, ranging in size <br />from approximately 3.5 acres to approximately 6.9 acres, and into <br />520 residential condominium units, located at the northeast <br />corner of the intersection of Stoneridge Drive and Stoneridge <br />Mall Road. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - High Density Residential District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this application. <br />Commissioner Michelotti asked if the project is going to be <br />constructed in phases. Mr. Swift reported it is anticipated to <br />be constructed in two phases. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Rick Aston, Regis Homes, agreed with the proposed conditions <br />shown in the staff report. Mr. Aston stated it is their <br />intention to build the units as condominiums but rent them as <br />apartments. The development is being built as condominiums for <br />financial purposes only. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Berger, seconded by <br />Commissioner Michelotti that Tract 5775 is in conformance with <br />the General Plan of the City and that this subdivision be <br />approved subject to the conditions shown in the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, Tarver, and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-87-44 was entered and adopted approving Tract <br />5775 as motioned. <br />Commissioner Tarver went on record as stating that he would not <br />have supported the original project had he been a Planning <br />Commissioner at that time. <br />- 5 - <br />
