Minutes Planning Commission Wednesday, April 22, 1987 ROLL CALL VOTE AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Michelotti, Tarver, and Chairman Lindsey NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Resolution No. PC-87-43 was entered and adopted approving Case UP-87-7 as motioned. Tract 5775, Regis Homes Corp. Application of Regis Homes Corporation to subdivide an approximately 20.7 acre site into four parcels, ranging in size from approximately 3.5 acres to approximately 6.9 acres, and into 520 residential condominium units, located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Stoneridge Drive and Stoneridge Mall Road. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - High Density Residential District. Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of this application. Commissioner Michelotti asked if the project is going to be constructed in phases. Mr. Swift reported it is anticipated to be constructed in two phases. The public hearing was opened. Rick Aston, Regis Homes, agreed with the proposed conditions shown in the staff report. Mr. Aston stated it is their intention to build the units as condominiums but rent them as apartments. The development is being built as condominiums for financial purposes only. The public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Berger, seconded by Commissioner Michelotti that Tract 5775 is in conformance with the General Plan of the City and that this subdivision be approved subject to the conditions shown in the staff report.
