January 28, 1986 <br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />Chairman Lindsey felt Commercial Service zoning and uses are <br />necessary for the area proposed for the shopping center. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Innes, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hoyt to deny Case PUD-86-16 for the reasons stated in the <br />testimony. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Michelotti and Chairman <br />Lindsey <br />NOES: Commissioner Berger <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. DRB-87-08 was adopted denying Case PUD-86-16 as <br />motioned. <br />The applicant was advised he has 15 days in which to appeal this <br />decision to the City Council should he elect to do so. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />RZ-87-1, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately <br />3.6 acre site located on both sides of Old Dublin Canyon Road, <br />approximately 3,000 feet west of the intersection of Foothill <br />Road and Old Dublin Canyon Road to the ~'A" (Agricultural) <br />District or to any other zoning district consistent with the <br />General Plan. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />this City application. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />John Ferreri, represented Mr. Lewis, who he indicated is also <br />present at the meeting. Mr. Ferreri stated they would be happy <br />to answer any questions the Commission might have regarding this <br />matter. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Michelotti, seconded by <br />Commissioner Innes to recommend approval of the negative <br />declaration prepared for this case inasmuch as project approval <br />would have an insignificant effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Innes,Michelotti and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />- 9 - <br />
