MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JANUARY 14, 1987 <br />This item was continued to 1/28/87. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />UP-86-56, Foster Excavating Inc. <br />Application of Joe Foster Excavating, Inc. for an extension of a <br />conditional use permit to operate a contractors office and <br />equipment storage yard located on an approximately one acre site, <br />located at 3932 Old Santa Rita Road. Zoning for the property is <br />C-S (Service Commercial) District. <br />Mr. Swift presented ttze staff report which recommends approval <br />for two years. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Marshall DeBisschup, Joe Foster Excavating, agreed with all of <br />the conditions of the staff report except he asked that it be for <br />three years vs two years. Their lease will be for three years. <br />Chairman Lindsey asked whether or not a renewal had been <br />executed. Mr. DeBisschup said renewal has not yet taken place. <br />Chairman Lindsey asked if they can make the lease for two years. <br />Mr. DeBisschup was unsure. <br />Chairman Lindsey suggested that the matter be continued until the <br />terms of the lease have been resolved. Mr. DeBisschup stated he <br />would prefer to have the use permit for two years rather than <br />continue this matter. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />After discussion a motion was made by Commissioner Inner, <br />seconded by Commissioner Michelotti to approve Case UP-8G-56 per <br />the conditions of the staff report as all findings shown thereon <br />are made. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Berger, Hoyt, Inner, Michelotti and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-87-O1 was entered and adopted approving Case <br />UP-86-56 as motioned. <br />PUD-86-18, Oakridge Properties/Valley Medical Associates <br />Application of Oakridge Properties and Valley Medical Associates <br />for development plan approval to construct an approximately <br />49,150 sq. ft. retail commercial center to be located on an <br />approximately 3.8 acre site, located at the southeast corner of <br />the intersection of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita <br />Road. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />Commercial District. <br />- 3 - <br />
