The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Mahern, seconded by <br />Commissioner 9erger that all findings can be made and <br />recommending approval of Case UP-88-17 subject to conditions 1 <br />through 6 of the staff report. <br />ROLL_CALL_VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Herger, Hoyt, Mahern, Tarver, and <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-@@-72 was entered and adopted approving of <br />Case UP-@@-17 as motioned. <br />Chairman Michelotti commended the Downtown Association for <br />coming and working together in the community. <br />PUD-_81-30-43Ds_Sammis_Co_ <br />Application for design review approval to construct an <br />approximately 131,900 square foot mixed office and retail <br />complex to be located on an approximately 13.1 acre site located <br />at the southeast corner of Hopyard Road and Stoneridge Drive. <br />Zoning for the property is PUD tPlanned Unit Development) - <br />Industrial/Commercial and Offices District. <br />Mr. Swift presented the staff report recommending approval of <br />Case PUD-81-30-43D. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Bob Gorlow, 373b Kamp Drive, Pleasanton, represented the <br />application and displayed a large number of renderings. He gave <br />the background of the company and the marketing program. He <br />said one of their goals is community development and services. <br />He discussed the architecture of the project, the proposed <br />colors, and the possible effects the project might have on <br />traffic. <br />Lloyd Godo, 22fa Airport Parkway, San Jose, also represented the <br />application. He gave the background of the company to be a <br />California development company with several other offices in <br />other states. He said the company has done other buildings in <br />the area and over 40 developments. He stated they envision <br />multi-tenant retail users in the 32,060 and 10,500 sq. ft. <br />retail buildings with a single retail user in the entire 10,000 <br />sq. f t. structure. <br />Commissioner Mahern asked what kind of retail users did they <br />anticipate. The applicant replied they envision computer <br />software, electronics, some food services, and other businesses <br />complimentary to the area. <br />Page 4 <br />
