Jim Gresham, ?4~~t~ k;oll Center Parkway, represented the <br />application. Several renderings of the project were displayed. <br />He responded to a question by Commissioner Hovingh regarding the <br />FAR of the surrounding buildings. He said the established Iimit <br />is 35X; the height of the buildings would be limited to three <br />stories. He stated that he has worked closely with staff and <br />concurs with all the conditions. <br />Larry Millis, architect of 5t. Louis, Missouri, also represented <br />the application. He went to the renderings and painted out <br />where the buildings would be located. He pointed out that the <br />large Sycamore tree will be the focal point of a 1.4 acre <br />interior park along with a water fountain. He showed the type <br />of material that the buildings would be constructed of and glass <br />panels that would be incorporated. <br />Commissioner Hovingh questioned Mr. Millis about the adequacy of <br />parking on the south side of the comple;: and whetl-+er this is for <br />visitors or employees. Mr. Millis said employees would be <br />directed to park on the north side of the building. <br />Chairman Michelotti asked if they had any prospective tenants <br />for the buildings. Mr. Gresham said they do have prospects but <br />nothing has been finalised. <br />Chairman Michelotti asked if the application is approved when <br />construction would begin. Mr. Gresham said June 5, 1489_ <br />Chairman Michelotti asked what the occupancy rate is for the <br />e~:isting buildings. Mr. Gresham said Sycamore Terrace is about <br />75'l. 1 eased , Magnol i a Court project i s about 9C~X 1 eased , and <br />retail space is about 4~i'1. committed.
