Mr. McCracken explained the <br />proposed plans and gave some of his background in regard to <br />helping children. He noted that the batting facility is <br />designed to help children or older adults develop their batting <br />skills. He put up a blueprint and pointed out t!-cat the entry <br />weay had been moved to the back- of the location. Ne showed wehiere <br />the different batting cages would be and spoke of howl they <br />operate and at what speeds. He noted that they intend to bring <br />in professional people and coaches to give clinics and give <br />direction. <br />Chairman Michelotti asked the applicant to point out the snacF= <br />area. i-~e did so. <br />Commissioner Hovingh said he had same concern about the look of <br />the retail area as shown on the drawing. The applicant pointed <br />out where it would. <br />Chairman Michelotti asked if the entry would be on Corrisierce <br />Circle. He personally felt that it would cause severe <br />parking problems and was not an area conducive to biF:e riders. <br />Ne felt the area weal too dangerous for children who may not be <br />carpooled to the location.
