He stated that he has reviewed the <br />staff report and concurs with the conditions of the staff report <br />as amended. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Hovingh stated that he did not care for eucalyptus <br />trees and would like to delete that on Sheet s of the landscape <br />plan. <br />Chairman Michelotti asked Mr. Swift to respond to Commissioner <br />Hovingh's statement. Mr. Swift said that if the right kind of <br />eucalyptus tree is planted he felt it would be appropriate. <br />The other Commissioners feit the eucalyptus trees were <br />appropriate. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Herger, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt to recommend approval of the Negative <br />Declaration prepared for Case pUD-88-1~ as approval of this <br />project would have an insignificant effect on the environment. <br />ROLL CALL DOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Herger, Hovingh, Hoyt, Mahern, and <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />hlOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Commissioner Tarver <br />Resolution No. pC-88-117 was entered and adopted recommending <br />approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case pUD-88-1~ <br />as motioned. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Herger, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hoyt that the development plan is consistent with <br />the General plan and the purposes of the pUD Ordinance; and <br />recommends approval of the pUD Development plan for Case <br />pUD-88-1~ subject to the conditions listed on Exhibit C: and <br />amending Condition ba to say that the 3~' minimum setback be <br />changed to 3G`; and amending Condition 6b by adding a ciause to <br />not require berming if the same intent could be accomplished <br />through the use of shrubs. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Herger, Hovingh, Hoyt, Mahern, and <br />Chairman Michelotti <br />NOES: None <br />ABSEhlT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Commissioner Tarver <br />Resolution No. pC-88-118 was entered and adopted recommending <br />approval of Case pUD-88-12 as motioned. <br />page <br />
