Commissioner E~erger asked for a description of the green awning. <br />Mr. Garrison pointed out the location of the awning and showed a <br />color sample. He described the roof and showed a comparison <br />between the green sloped roof and the terra cotta tile. <br />Commissioner Mahern questioned Mr. Garrison as to the quantity <br />of pariā¢;ing. Mr. Garrison stated that he felt it was adequate. <br />Chairman Michelotti asked if there is a right turn into the <br />parking area and a right turn out. Mr. Garrison said that was <br />correct. <br />Commissioner 'Lserger asked if there would be signage on Hopyard <br />Road. Mr. Garrison said there would be none on that street. <br />Andy Curtis, representative of Chili's Restaurant, briefly <br />described the exterior of the restaurant and requested approval <br />of the application. <br />!`Firs. IrJarren, 616 Allbrook, stated that she and her husband <br />lived about fife houses behind Hopyard Road near the proposed <br />Chili's. She asked whether alcoholic beverages would be served <br />there and expressed concern about that. <br />Chairman Michelotti said that the upcoming case would address <br />that issue and she could express her concern at that time. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Corrsmissioner Mahern stated that she liked the green sloped roof <br />better than the terra cotta. <br />The other Commissioners agreed with her regarding the green and <br />Chairman Michelotti added that the applicant could work with <br />staff regarding the type of material to be used. <br />Co~T+mi ssi oner Mahern as6:.ed Mr _ ~uagl i a about the si gnage <br />approval.
