E. Conduct a study of access, public services, environmental <br />constraints and land use alternatives according to the City's <br />General Plan. <br /> <br /> Section 4. General Plan Amendments Reqardinq the Ridgelands <br /> <br /> Pleasanton General Plan - 1986 is hereby amended as <br /> <br /> The <br />follows: <br /> <br /> A. <br /> <br /> The planning area of the Pleasanton General Plan is <br />expanded to include the area defined as the Ridgelands Study Area. <br /> <br /> B. All land in the Ridgelands Study Area is designated as <br />"Public Health & Safety". (No development is allowed in these <br />areas other than single family homes on existing lots of record <br />which meet the City's requirements for access, public safety, <br /> <br />building site, architectural design, etc.) <br /> Section 5. Implementation <br /> <br /> A. In order to implement this ballot measure, the Ridgelands <br />Review Committee is to complete its work and report its <br />recommendations to the City Council. <br /> <br /> B. The City Council shall comment on the report and then <br />forward it to the Planning Commission for review and recommendation <br />to the City Council in the manner provided by law. <br /> <br /> C. The City Council shall then submit at a regular or special <br />election the recommendation of the Ridgelands Review Committee, as <br />received from the Planning Commission and as acted upon by the City <br />Council, for ratification by a vote of the people of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
