D. Following voter ratification, the City Council shall <br /> initiate the required actions to implement the recommendations. <br /> <br /> E. If the voters do not ratify the recommendation of the RRC, <br />the land in the Ridgelands Study Area shall remain designated <br />"Public Health and Safety" and a ridgelands review committee shall <br />prepare a new recommendation in the manner provided in this <br />section. <br /> <br /> Section 6. Severabilit¥ <br /> <br /> If any portion of this initiative ordinance is hereafter <br />determined to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, all <br />remaining portions of this initiative ordinance shall remain in <br />full force and effect. Each section, subsection, sentence, phrase, <br />part, or portion of this initiative ordinance would have been <br />adopted and passed irrespective of the fact that any one or more <br />sections, subsections, sentences, phrases, parts or portions be <br />declared invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br /> Section 7. Repeal and Amendment <br /> <br /> This initiative shall not be repealed or amended except by a <br />vote of the people of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 8. Conflict With Another Ballot Measur~ <br /> <br /> This proposed ordinance is in conflict with another ballot <br />measure.
