If required, Garber Engineering will distribute the questions to various subconsultants such as the electrical engineer or to any suppliers who may have knowledge to help respond to the questions. 4. Garber Engineering will receive any responses from the electrical engineer, the structural engineer or suppliers and integrate these responses into a coordinated response. 5. Garber Engineering will make a judgement regarding the need to document any questions and responses. Most questions and responses will be documented but the response to some minor questions may be solely verbal. Documentation will consist of written records of the question and the response. Documentation will be distributed to the CONTRACTOR, City of Pleasanton, CONSTRUCTION MANAGER and any subconsultants who may have contributed to the response. ASSIST IN ISSUING CHANGE ORDERS Assumptions: A. Others will be responsible for the portions of any change order that are not technical in nature. B. Others will be responsible for assembling any change orders. C. Others will be responsible for distributing any change orders. 2. [f in the course of construction, it becomes necessary to issue a change order or change orders, Garber Engineering will prepare the portions of the change orders which are technical in nature. That is, the portions of the CONTRACT DRAWINGS and CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS that need to be modified will be updated and a detailed list of the existing specific SECTIONS of the CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS and portions of the CONTRACT DRAWINGS which are superseded or modified by the change order. 3. Garber Engineering will communicate with the various parties to determine what the change order needs to cover and how to make the appropriate changes.
