Distribution of the submittals: Who, number of submittals, date sent <br />and dates returned, and status. Status states if the submittal is under <br />review, returned as no exceptions taken, make corrections noted, <br />amend and resubmit or rejected. <br />G. Status of compiled response. <br />H. E-mail copies of the submittal log in Microsoft Excel Version 2003 <br />format to CONTRACTOR, the City of Pleasanton and others on a <br />weekly basis <br />3. Perform cursory review of shop drawing submittals to ensure that they <br />comply with the overall format requirements of SECTION 01340 of the <br />CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS and that a sufficient quantity of submittal <br />copies has been supplied. Shop drawing submittals failing in either respect <br />may, at Garber Engineering's option: <br />A. Returned to the CONTRACTOR with a short explanation of why <br />the submittal was returned without comment. <br />B. Contact the CONTRACTOR to request changes or additional <br />information to bring the submittal into compliance with the format <br />requirements and quantity of submittals. <br />In any case, the CONTRACTOR shall be informed that he is responsible for <br />the delays and the 15 working day response time does not begin until the <br />submittal meets the requirements for format and quantity of submittals. <br />4. Distribute the shop drawing submittals to the various parties expected to <br />review the submittal. This may include: <br />A. The City of Pleasanton. <br />B. Subconsultants to Garber Engineering. <br />5. Review shop drawing submittals for compliance with design and intent of <br />CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. Garber Engineering's review will be for <br />general compliance with the intent of the design. <br />6. Contact parties to whom shop drawing submittals have been distributed to <br />attempt to expedite responses. <br />7. Receive comments from parties to whom shop drawing submittals have <br />been distributed. <br />8.
