when recognized holidays are worked. Upon termination, police <br />lieutenants shall receive prorated holiday pay. <br />Section 5. Health and Welfare <br />5.1 Medical Insurance - Active Employees. <br />Management and confidential employees and their eligible <br />dependents shall be offered enrollment in any one of the <br />following three health plans: Blue Cross, Kaiser S-1, or <br />Foundation Health Plan. The monthly premiums of the Kaiser <br />and Foundation Health plans shall be paid by the city. The <br />maximum monthly city contribution toward the premium of the <br />Blue Cross health plan shall not exceed six hundred dollars <br />~S6oo.o0~. <br />5.2 Medical Insurance - Retirees. <br />Effective October 1, 1988, for management and confidential <br />employees who retire for service after October 1, 1988, the <br />City shall pay for each year of service four percent (4$) of <br />the monthly premium for employee and one dependent of the <br />city's current Kaiser S-1 Health Plan coverage, except that <br />when a management employee retires from the city with at least <br />ten years of city of Pleasanton service, the city's minimum <br />contribution made on his/her behalf shall be at least 75~ of <br />-the applicable Kaiser two party monthly premium.
