<br />City of Pleasanton <br />City Grant <br />Fiscal Year 2007/08 <br /> <br />Funding Guidelines and Categories <br /> <br />Note: A separate, complete application must be submitted for each project. <br /> <br />City Grant Funds may be requested for the <br />following project use(s): <br /> <br />o Seed Funding (new projects/programs) <br />o Capital Projects (semi or permanent <br />physical facility amenity) <br />o Operational (direct services only, <br />excludes administrative expenses) <br /> <br />General Fundina Priority - <br />Priority will be given to those applications <br />requesting one-time-only or matching funds, <br />and that serve a large number of Pleasanton <br />residents. <br /> <br />,( Pleasanton City Grant funding is <br />limited. <br /> <br />Commissions' Funding Priorities/Maximum Request <br />Funding requests are strongly encouraged for, but not limited to, the following priorities: <br /> <br />Civic Arts <br />Maximum Funding Request: $7,500*; total available funding $40,000 <br />*Organizations may submit applications for different projects, but shall not be awarded more <br />than $7,500 in the aggregate for any given grant year cycle. <br /> <br />Priority Statement: <br />Cultural and artistic projects that build community, provide public education in the arts, create <br />increased diversity and provide technical assistance increasing self-sufficiency. <br /> <br />Human Services Commission <br />Maximum Funding Request: $20,000 per project; total available funding $130,000 <br /> <br />Priority Statement: <br />Programs that promote a healthy community, with emphasis on projects that address service <br />network gaps and shortcomings as identified in the Tri-Valley Human Services Needs <br />Assessment (May, 2003). <br /> <br />Youth Commission <br />Maximum Funding Request: $7,500 per project, total available funding $20,000 <br /> <br />Priority Statement: <br />Programs designed to encourage and promote services that benefit the Pleasanton youth <br />community, with added emphasis on projects that address areas of the Youth Master Plan. <br />
