Priority Classifications <br /> <br />City programs and services have <br />first priority to the facility. <br /> <br />_A Programs, services, functions that <br /> complement the center and are considered of <br /> direct benefit to the center. Fundraisers for <br /> the Pleasanton Senior Center. Fundraisers <br /> for the Pleasanton Senior Center Program. <br /> <br />B Co-Sponsored Groups - All co-sponsored <br /> groups are designated by meeting lb0 <br /> requirements included in the Policy for a <br /> Recreation Group Sponsorship Classification. <br /> To be considered Sponsored, an organization <br /> file must be complete. <br /> <br /> Co-sponsored Senior- Reserved for <br />' community groups whose program serves <br /> a si_nuificant number of seniors, providing <br /> a wholesome and desirable educational or <br /> leisure activity and is considered of <br /> service tO the community. <br /> <br />Co-sponsored - Reserved for community <br />groups whose program serves a <br />significant number of people, providing a <br />wholesome and desirable recreational <br />activity and is considered of service to <br />the community. <br /> <br />Sanctioned Programs - Meets all above <br />requirements, but is limited in degree in <br />terms of numbers served. <br /> <br />Approved - Worthwhile community <br />activities or projects which are beneficial <br />to the community, but have main values <br />other than recreation or is of a limited <br />recreation value. <br /> <br />C ClaSSified Groups <br /> <br />Permitted - Local organizations using <br />facilities for their own members. <br />Example of these types of groups would <br />be service clubs, support groups, <br />educational or non-profit social service <br />groups. <br /> <br />PleasanWn Residents - Weddings, <br />Pleasanwn based company picnics, <br />birthday parties, etc. Public facilities <br />may not be used for private gain. <br /> <br />_D Non-Residents - Applicants residing outside <br /> City limits of Pleasanton. Monday-Thursday - 5:00-10:00 p.m. <br />available on a limited basis.
