Insurance - All applicants shall provide the City <br />of Pleasanton with a valid Certificate of Liability <br />Insurance written through carriers acceptable to <br />the City of Pleasanton. Such certificate shall <br />provide Bodily Injury and Property Damage <br />Liability protection at a preferred limit of <br />$500,000 per occurrence. The Certificate of <br />Insurance shall name the City of Pleasanton as <br />an "additional insured" in COnformance with the <br />Hold Harmless Agreement, as outlined in the <br />Facility Rental Agreement. <br /> <br />NQt~: Please COntact your insurance agent <br />regarding whether or not your homeowner's <br />policy may be extended to COver your event. If <br />your insurance COmpany does not COver this the <br />City may have a Certificate of Insurance <br />available for purchase. Please discuss insurance <br />needs with staff. <br /> <br />The Certificate of Insurance is due at the time <br />of final payment. <br /> <br />GENERAL RULES <br />REGULATIONS <br /> <br />AND <br /> <br />Final interpretation of all Recreation Facility <br />Use Policies and Procedures remain with the <br />Director of Parks and Community Services. <br /> <br />~ - The Senior Center has limited storage <br />capacity. No storage is available for any group, <br />organization or special use group. <br /> <br />~ - Groups shall be responsible for the <br />clean-up and COndition in which they leave a <br />facility. In cases where property has been <br />damaged or abused beyond normal wear, the <br />group will be billed for all damaged and <br />additional clean-up. <br /> <br />~;mokinl~ - Smoking is not allowed in buildings <br />or rest rooms. <br /> <br />User Resnonsibilities <br /> <br />* Set filled garbage containers outside of <br /> building. <br />· Pick up all litter and garbage from building, <br /> patio porch, etc., and place in containers <br /> provided. <br />· Clean the kitchen if used. <br /> <br />· Wipe off tables and chairs used. <br />· Put away tables and chairs, as directed. <br />· Cie, an spills from floor or rugs. <br />· Flush toilets before you leave. <br /> <br />Do Not use rice or birdseed in the Center, on <br />porches, or patios. The cleaning deposit will be <br />used to COver any staff time necessary for clean- <br />up of seed or rice. <br /> <br />Do Not slide tables across floors. <br /> <br />Not stand, sit or lie on tables. <br /> <br />Do Not use staples, tacks, etc. on surfaces - <br />only masking tape. Tacks are acceptable on tack <br />boards only. <br /> <br />No vehicles are to be driven or parked on <br />sidewalks, patios or lawns of recreational <br />facilities. Deposit will be forfeited for non- <br />COmpliance. <br /> <br />~ shall be exhibited, no petitions <br />circulated, and no solicitation or sales made in <br />the building or on the grounds without written <br />permission from the Chief of Police. <br /> <br />Posting of any notice, snnouncement or flyer <br />will be permitted only by pre-approval by the <br />Recreation Supervisor or Senior Supervisor. <br /> <br />NO disolav of merchandise, products, projects <br />or materials will l~e oermitted without pre- <br />approval by the Supervisor or Senior <br />Supervisor. <br /> <br />Groups shall enter and leave the facility at the <br />time specified on the permit. <br /> <br />RENTAL FEES <br /> <br />Basic rental fee is for six hours of use, which <br />includes set-up, decorating, and clean-up. If the <br />facility is available, time' extensions may be <br />requested up to 14 days before booking; subject <br />to the hourly fee. Time extended without <br />prearrangement will incur the hourly rental cost, <br />plus $15 per hour for staff. An additional fee is <br />required for use of the kitchen. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
