At the conclusion of your appointment, your <br />completed contract with. the $50 deposit will <br />allow the Depa~i~aent to consider approval. <br /> <br />For both routine and non-routine applications, <br />after your application is considered, you will <br />receive a copy of the contract in the mail with <br />the status noted (Approved, Disapproved). <br /> <br />Applications that are disapproved will be <br />automatically processed for a full refund which <br />will be mailed to the applicant at the address on <br />the application. Please allow two (2) weeks. <br /> <br />Payment Deposit - A $50 deposit will be <br />required upon applying for rental and the <br />balance paid 30 days prior to use of the facility. <br />All checks shall be made payable to the "City of <br />Pleasanton." A $50 non-refundable building <br />rental deposit is required to secure a reservation. <br /> <br />Cleanin~/Damaoe/Comnlianc~ De0osit A <br />$50 to $200 (depending upon use category) <br />cleaning/damage/compliance deposit is required <br />for all building reservations. The Cleaning <br />Deposit is due 30 days prior to use of facility. <br />Deposits will be returned by mail if building is <br />left in a satisfactory condition and use was in <br />compliance. Please allow at least two (2) <br />weeks. <br /> <br />Reservation Cancellation - Applicants finding <br />it necessary to cancel reservations must do so in <br />writing at least 30 days prior to date reserved <br />and will incur a cancellation fee of fifty dollars <br />($50). Late cancellations (less than 4 weeks <br />prior to booking will forfeit the deposit, plus up <br />to 50% of the rental fee. <br /> <br />Alcoholic B~vera~q Applicants requesting <br />permission to sell alcoholic beverages must <br />obtain a one-day sales license from the State of <br />California Beverage Control Board; call <br />639-0628 for additional information. <br /> <br />Access to Building Please confirm hours of <br />use at the time of final payment. This may be <br />done by telephone if you are mailing the final <br />payment. A staff person or department <br />representative will be assigned to open and <br />secure the facility for all uses at the times <br />specified on the contract. <br /> <br />~ - No facilities will be available on <br />Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, <br />New Year's Day, or Easter Sunday, except by <br />special arrangements. <br /> <br />An additional twenty-five percent (25%) of the <br />building rental fee will be charged for facilities <br />on New Year's Eve, July 4th, Labor Day, <br />Memorial Day, or holidays noted above. <br /> <br />Inanurooriate Uses - Due to facility d. esign, the <br />following activities are considered inappropriate <br />for the facility: teen dances, youth focused <br />events, performance events requiring dressing <br />room or support. <br /> <br />In accordance with the General Policy, Parks <br />and Community Services Department the Senior <br />Center shall not be granted to: <br /> <br />Persons, groups, associations, clubs, or <br />organizations desiring use for "private <br />gain" which term is defined and used <br />herein to mean use for the principal <br />purpose of making a profit not pledged <br />to be devoted to public or welfare uses. <br /> <br />Any party or organization, political or <br />otherwise, that advocates the overthrow <br />of the government of the United States <br />or of the State of California by force or <br />violence or other unlawful means. <br /> <br />Food and beverage service is <br />limited to the Auditorium and <br />patio area. Special permission is <br />required to extend service to other <br /> <br />Please note: your specified time <br />inclUdes you total time 'in the <br />facility, including set-up and <br />clean-up. <br /> <br />Music is controlled at all facilities. <br />Applicants must clearly indicate if <br />they plan to have music and the <br />type of music planned. <br /> <br /> <br />
