This policy does not apply to meetings of less than a quorum of the City Council. <br /> <br />M~)ia Attendance <br /> <br />All meetings that are open to the public (which excludes closed sessions) of the <br />City Council and City Boards/Commissions shall be open to the media, and may <br />be recorded by tape, radio, television, or photography, provided such recordings <br />do not interfere with orderly conduct of the meetings. <br /> <br />III. AGENDA FOR COUNCIL MEETINGS <br /> <br />Each City Council meeting s.h~il be in ac~rdanco with a written agenda. The' <br />Agenda shall be prepared using procedures developed by the City Manager. <br /> <br />B. Agenda Reduests by the Public <br /> <br />To be placed on the City Council agenda, written requests by the genelaI <br />public must be received by the City Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. 13 days <br />prior to the date of the regularly scheduled Council meeting. <br /> <br />The City Clerk shall determine the completeness of the request prior to <br />scheduling. The City Manager shall determine if any staff work is <br />necessary prior to schednling. If an item is not scheduled for the next <br />agenda, the City Clerk shall notify the requestor of the reasons for not <br />scheduling, and/or the date on which the item will be discussed. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
