AESTHETICS <br /> <br />Environmental Sctting <br /> <br />The project sitc is currently developed with one home and various accessory structures, which will re- <br />main. Views onto the site consist of moderate to steep terrain with a mix of grassland and native vegeta- <br />tion including coast live oak, valley oak, acacia, and blue gum eucalyptus trees, Surrounding properties <br />include single-family detached homes on medium-size lots to the south and large-size lots to the east. <br />Views into the site are from Foothill Road, thc Laguna Oaks development on the east side of Foothill <br />Road, and the 1-680 freeway farther to the east, <br /> <br />Standards of Significance <br /> <br />For purposes of this environmental document, an impact is considered significant if the proposed project <br />would: <br /> <br />. Substantially alter or degrade the existing visual character or quality of thc project site; <br />. Have a substantial cffect on a scenic resource; or, <br />.
