<br />Thc proposed sitc dcsign was detcrmincd by scvcral factors: input from Jorgcnscn Lanc ncighbors, ori-
<br />entation to Alviso Adobe Park, acccss onto Old Foothill Road instead of Foothill Road, preservation of
<br />existing creeks/swales, and creation of a rural character/background for the project. The cluster concept
<br />fulfills thc applicable policics and standards of thc Plcasanton Gcncral Plan and the Wcst Foothill Road
<br />Corridor Overlay District.

<br />. Eight single-family building sites will bc located on an approximately 8-acre portion of the Aus-
<br />tin property, Thc applicants will dcsignatc the rcmaining 22-acrcs as pcrmancnt opcn spacc and
<br />will bc dcdicatcd to thc City, Thc prcscnt cattle grazing taking placc on thc Austin propcrty will
<br />be retained as an allowed use of the open space area,
