PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> <br />The City's Parks and Trails Master Plan shows a park staging arca near thc northernmost corncr <br />of the Austin propcrty. The proposal was rcviewed by thc Trails Ad Hoc Committec and by the <br />Parks and Rccreation Commission at its April 24th public meeting. Mccting minutcs are at- <br />tached. The Parks and Rccrcation Commission dctermined unanimously that the Alviso Adobc <br />parking area would function as a park staging arca and, thcrefore, no staging arca would need to <br />be locatcd on the Austin property. <br /> <br />V. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />Proposed Site Design <br /> <br />The proposed site plan includes the following features: <br /> <br />· Eight single-family building sites will be clustercd on an approximatcly 8-acre portion of <br />thc Austin propcrty. The applicants will dcsignate the remaining 22-acres as pcrmancnt <br />open space and will offer it to the City. <br />· The proposed lots will vary is sizc from 30,462 squarc feet to SO,928 square feet. The <br />avcragc lot sizc is 39,791 square feet. <br />. All lots will bc acccsscd from the public strcctlcul-de-sac connccted to Old Foothill <br />Road. Lots 1 and 2, Lots 3 through S, and Lots 6 and 7 will be accessed from shared ac- <br />cess driveways to reduce the numbcr of bridge crossings of the swalc/scep area. Lot 8 <br />will bc thc only lot directly accessed from thc public street. <br />. The applicant will transfer a 3S-foot widc strip of land to thc rcar/side yards of the <br />Jorgensen Lane properties belonging to David and Judith Banks, Larry and Cynthia <br />Athcrton, the Lide Family Trust, and to Sandeep and Eena Duggal. <br /> <br />SR 06:242 <br />Page 5 of 14 <br />
